The Kamienna Góra Special Economic Zone for Small Businesses (SEZSB) was established on September 9, 1997. Its mission is to support economic development by providing public aid instruments, primarily dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises.

Territorial scope

The Zone operates in the south-western part of Poland, within the Lower Silesian and Greater Poland Voivodeships. It covers approximately 800,000 hectares, which accounts for about 2.5% of Poland’s total area, and is home to over 800,000 residents. The SEZSB operates in 63 municipalities, including 33 towns, and spans the following counties:
